Looking for a classy break: Athens, Nafplio & Hydra

Welcome to Athens! Once you arrive, let our driver pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. After a quick rest, start discovering the historic Greek capital by yourselves before heading to a local tavern for a welcome dinner full of traditional Greek flavors and local delicacies.

The next day, see it all on a 7-hour tour around Αthens and its most important attractions! Follow your expert, licensed guide and explore the emblematic Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, the scenic neighborhood of Plaka, the vibrant Monastiraki Square, and the famous Syntagma Square, among others. Let yourselves be enchanted by the beauties of this city!

On day 3, pack your bags and get ready to be transferred to Peloponnese and specifically, the Venetian ‘Naples of the East’, Nafplio! On your way there, you’ll have the chance to stop at the Corinth Canal and admire its great construction. Once you reach your hotel, take the day off and find out for yourselves why Nafplio is considered to be one of the most romantic cities in Greece. 

On the fourth day, visit the magnificent Mycenae, the most paramount palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece, and have a tour around the impressive archaeological site that used to be the kingdom of the mythical Agamemnon. Listen to your expert guide as they explain the monuments before you; from the Cyclopean Walls to the Royal Tombs, the Treasury of Atreus, and the famous Lion’s Gate, you won’t leave a stone unturned! 

The time to reach the final destination of your wonderful trip has come. On the fifth day, you’ll be transferred in comfort to Ermioni port to catch the ferry to the scenic island of Hydra. As soon as you arrive and settle in, enjoy your first day on the island at your own leisure and spend quality time with your better half.

Day 6 is free for you to spend as you please. Hydra is one of the most picturesque Greek islands, and what makes it even more beautiful is that cars and any sort of motor vehicles are not allowed on the island, as the city has been listed for preservation due to its great architectural and historical richness. Optionally, you can add to your free day a short walking tour around the town and its highlights while hearing all about them from your local historian-tour leader. 

Day 7 marks the conclusion of this minimoon trip. Board the ferry back to Athens from the port of Hydra and upon arrival, get a private transfer to Athens airport to catch your international flight. Return home full of memories and experiences you have collected as a newlywed couple that you will treasure for the rest of your lives!
