About the Location
Milos Breeze is situated in the northeast of Milos, namely in the beautiful village of Pollonia, a short distance away from the eateries and shops that decorate its coast.
Next to the main road in the direction of Pollonia, you can visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, the ancient settlement of Fylakopi. Walk the cobbled alleys of picture-perfect Plaka, Milos’ old town, and gaze at the sunset from the marble courtyard of Panagia Korfiatissa or, for anyone who can stand a 10-minute climb, from the 13th-century Venetian castle.
What Milos is mainly known for, however, is its striking beaches. Apart from Pollonia Beach, the beaches of Papafragas, Tria Pigadia, Sarakiniko Beach are excellent beaches, with the latter offering awe-inspiring lunar landscapes and excellent photo opportunities to its visitors. Firiplaka and Tsigardo, one next to the other, are also great, along with Plathiena, Psaravolada, Agia Kyriaki, Gerontas, and Papakinou.
You can’t leave the island without eating a breakfast pastry from ‘Moyratos’ the most beloved bakery in Milos. For delicious traditional Greek food, ‘Embourios’, ‘Armenaki’, Enalion’, ‘Gialos’, and ‘Almyra’ are excellent options, all found just a stone’s throw away from your hotel.
Since Milos is a rather quiet island, its nightlife is not its major selling point. Regardless, if you want to enjoy a relaxed drink, the regions of Adamas and Plaka are the ones for you. Taste delicious cocktails accompanied by the striking view of a melting sunset in ‘Utopia’ the most popular cafe/bar for sunset-gazing, or enjoy your drinks in ‘Akri’ perched on top of a hill in the port of Adamas.
