Have the honeymoon of a lifetime by exploring the history, culture, and cuisine of Athens and the islands of Tinos, Mykonos, and Naxos!
Pack your suitcases and prepare yourselves for a 13-day trip to Athens and the Cyclades. Begin your trip with a short stay in Athens and continue your journey by visiting the less-known -yet enchanting- island of Tinos; Mykonos, the country’s most famous cosmopolitan island; and Naxos, an interesting destination with a rich history and spectacular natural landscapes.
Enjoy your drive from the airport to your accommodation in the comfort of a luxury vehicle, and after settling in, get the first taste of Greece. Stroll around some of Athens’ highlights during twilight and let your first night in Greece come to an end with a welcome dinner at a tavern.
The next morning, together with your expert local guide, visit Athens’ most famous site, the Acropolis, and the impressive Acropolis Museum. After a short break, continue on and get to see the city’s highlights, such as Syntagma Square, Monastiraki square, and the Temple of Zeus, among others.
On day 3, pack your bags and go traveling to the Cyclades, with the island of Tinos being the next stop of your memorable honeymoon. Your private driver will take you to Piraeus port for you to catch the ferry to the island. Once you get there, get transferred to your accommodation where you can spend a relaxing day.
The next day, follow your local guide on a tour of Tinos that combines amazing natural scenery, tradition, and wine tasting. Visit beautiful villages, like those of Falatados and Volax, swim at the famous beach of the island, Kolimbithra, admire the granite mountain of Exomvourgo and end your tour with a wine tasting session at a local restaurant in Tinos town.
We have kept day five free for you to spend as you wish. You can choose to explore the town of Tinos, known for its imposing church of Panagia Megalochari, or bask in the bright sun and get a tan at one of the Greek island’s lovely beaches.
The following day, your driver will take you to Tinos port so you can take the ferry to the next destination of this amazing trip – the ‘queen of the Cyclades’, Mykonos. As soon as you arrive, you’ll get to your hotel in a private, modern vehicle where you can unwind for the day.
On day 7, set on a sailing adventure heading to the stunning neighbouring islands of Rhenia for some swimming and snorkeling, and Delos for a guided tour across one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece. While onboard, savor a light meal along with house wine and soft drinks.
The next day is free for you to get to know the island on your own. Explore Mykonos town with its whitewashed cubic houses, narrow streets, and beautiful churches and chapels. Go and see the trademark of the island, the famous windmills, and take in the spectacular view over the Little Venice. If you are more into swimming and sunbathing, there are many beaches for you to choose from. Whatever you do on this day, cherish the moments spent with your significant other!
On the ninth day, have a wine-tasting experience in an idyllic beach setting in Mykonos. Get introduced to the scrumptious flavors and aromas and the Greek mythology and culture by your expert guide and sommelier. If you would like something more romantic, we’ve got you covered. Enjoy a romantic cycling ride into the sunset side by side with your better half followed by a private picnic with tasty local meze by the seaside.
The next day, it’s time to move on to the final stop of your honeymoon trip, Naxos – the biggest and greenest island of the Cyclades group. Let us drive you to the port of Mykonos so you can board the ferry to Naxos. Upon your arrival, enjoy a comfortable drive to your accommodation and relax for the rest of the day.
On day 11 get to know the island with the company of your expert local guide and experience Naxos like a local. Visit the magnificent ancient temple of Demeter and a local pottery workshop; taste Kitron liqueur at a traditional distillery; wander around and opt for a lunch meal at the ‘marble village’ of Apeiranthos and sample extra virgin olive oil at the Museum of Olive Press.
The penultimate day is free for you to decide how to spend your time with your partner. Continue the exploration of this scenic island at your own leisure or set on a sailing day-trip around the island discovering some of the most beautiful sceneries it can offer. Swim in cooling blue waters and visit jewel-like beaches reached only by boat. Since you are going to spend your day on board, lunch, drinks, and snacks are included to ensure a memorable experience.
On day 13, have your driver pick you up from your hotel and take you to Naxos airport early enough so you can catch the flight to Athens and then back home. Your incredible honeymoon trip to Greece may have reached its end, but you’ll go home full of experiences you and your better half will always remember!
